Two short weeks after Dillon made one of the biggest decisions of his life—leaving Vail, Colorado, after nearly 12 years to start fresh in Dallas—our paths crossed. Neither of us could have imagined how much our lives were about to change.Not long after we met, we were blessed with the greatest gift of our lives: our son, Henry. While our journey wasn't traditional, it was exactly what we needed. From the very beginning, we made a promise to put Henry first. Every decision we made was with him at the center, and rather than rushing our relationship, we focused on becoming the best parents we could be.Somewhere along the way, our shared love for Henry became the foundation of something even greater. As we watched each other become parents, our friendship deepened, our connection grew, and our love developed naturally—never forced, never rushed. We simply found ourselves falling in love with every part of one another, especially the parts that made us Mom and Dad.Looking back, we wouldn't change a thing. Our story may not have unfolded the way we expected, but it led us exactly where we were meant to be—and now we can't wait to begin this next chapter as husband and wife!!
